LAS ASAMBLEAS DE LOS TESTIGOS DE JEHOVÁ: MEGA EVENTOS PARA RECAUDAR “CASH MONEY”

¡Qué regocijo el asistir a una asamblea! ¡Todos los hermanos conviviendo en unidad!

¿Qué hacen en una asamblea los testigos de Jehová? Varias cosas, entre ellas volver a ver a viejos amigos, dedicarse a observar a las muchachas o viceversa (algunos hasta llevan binoculares para ello) y aun otros a oír el programa y tomar notas para batallar con el sueño que produce tanta repetición hipnotizante.

Bueno, se supone que la asamblea es una “mesa grande donde alimentarse”. No hablaré ahora de la clase de “alimento” que se sirve allí, pero esta se sirve y hay que pagar por sentarse en ella.

¿Cuánto hay que pagar?

 ¿Cuánto hay que pagar? Lo suficiente mientras sienta y mantenga un cargo de conciencia para con Jehová Dios.

El cuerpo gobernante ha prefabricado un engendro llamado “paraíso espiritual” donde el testigo debe sentir una obligación espiritual de donar dinero, metálico, bienes materiales –aunque sea pobre- a la obra.

¿Qué la organización de los testigos de Jehová no pide dinero ni hace colectas?

 

NETANYAHU: “JERUSALÉN SIEMPRE HA SIDO Y SERÁ NUESTRA”

El primer ministro israelí, Benjamín Netanyahu, subrayó que “Jerusalén siempre ha sido y será nuestra”, por lo que “nunca será partida ni dividida de nuevo”.

“Jerusalén unida es la capital de Israel”, recalcó en su discurso de conmemoración de la “reunificación” de la ciudad tras la toma de la parte Este en la Guerra de los Seis Días de 1967.

Netanyahu, líder del derechista Likud, indicó al inicio de su discurso que transmitió ese mensaje esta semana en EEUU, donde se reunió con el presidente Barack Obama.

“Sólo con una Jerusalén unida se podrá mantener la libertad de culto para las tres (grandes) religiones” monoteístas, judaísmo, islam y cristianismo, agregó en su intervención en la Colina de la Munición, uno de los lugares simbólicos de la contienda de hace 42 años.

El jefe de Gobierno insistió en que “nunca ha habido tanta libertad de culto en Jerusalén como ahora”.

Netanyahu afirmó que en 1967 se cumplió “un sueño de larga data” al ganar las tropas israelíes a Jordania la parte este, donde los palestinos aspiran a establecer la capital de su futuro estado.

Más tarde, en 1981, Israel se anexionó la parte oriental de la ciudad por medio de una ley parlamentaria que la declaró la “capital eterna e indivisible del pueblo y el Estado judío” y que rechazó la comunidad internacional.

El acto de hoy, en el que participaron los principales líderes políticos y militares del país, dio el pistoletazo de salida a las celebraciones del Día de Jerusalén.EFE y fuentes propias.

TRES PREGUNTITAS FACILITAS PARA UN TESTIGO DE JEHOVÁ DE LA CLASE DE LAS “OTRAS OVEJAS”

A cualquier “Testigo de Jehová” se le enseña cinco cosas elementales que a nuestro entender son un completo disparate:

1.- Que sólo 144,000 Testigos de Jehová reinarán con Cristo en el cielo.

2.- Que sólo 144,000 Testigos de Jehová son hijos de Dios.

3.- Que sólo 144,000 Testigos de Jehová son hermanos de Jesús

4.- Que sólo 144,000 Testigos de Jehová componen la iglesia o congregación cristiana.

5.- Que el resto de Testigos de Jehová (que son millones) son las “otras ovejas” que vivirán en la tierra. Estos no son hijos de Dios, ni hermanos de Cristo, y no componen la iglesia Cristiana.

3 PREGUNTAS inocentes y sin mala fe:

Si lo que enseñan arriba los líderes de la Watchtower es verdad, yo quisiera preguntarle a cualquier Testigo de Jehová de la clase de las “otras ovejas”, lo siguiente:

1.- ¿Por qué usted cuando ora se dirige a Dios como “Amado Padre celestial” si usted no es su hijo?

2.- ¿Por qué se dirige usted a un Testigo de Jehová de la clase celestial (“ungido”) como “hermano”, si usted no es de la clase “ungida” de los 144,000? ¿Acaso no son sólo los ungidos los hermanos de Jesús?

3.- ¿Por qué se deja usted gobernar por los ancianos o “pastores” de su congregación si éstos sólo están llamados a edificar a la iglesia o cuerpo del Señor, y usted no es parte de ese cuerpo o iglesia? (ver Efesios 4:11,12).

Una pregunta más de YAPA:

¿Para qué se bautiza usted si nunca será parte de la iglesia o cuerpo de Cristo? ¡La Biblia dice que los que se bautizaban entraban a ser parte del cuerpo o iglesia cristiana! (Hechos 2:41,47—”añadidos a la iglesia”)

Creo que no recibiré ninguna respuesta convincente de cualquiera de mis ex-correligionarios Testigos de Jehová, porque sencillamente no sabrán qué responderme…¡Patapufete! Q.E.P.D…jajajaja…los pollitos dicen, pío, pío, pío…

LA PROFECÍA DE ZACARÍAS EN ACCIÓN –LAS CONSECUENCIAS INMEDIATAS Y LEJANAS QUE ALCANZA

En Zacarías 12: 2 y 3,  vemos la visión del Señor de los tiempos de fin:

“He aquí yo pongo a Jerusalén por copa que hará temblar a todos los pueblos de alrededor contra Judá, en el sitio contra Jerusalén. Y en aquel día yo pondré a Jerusalén por piedra pesada a todos los pueblos; todos los que se la cargaren serán despedazados, bien que todas las naciones de la tierra se juntarán contra ella”.

Y en verso 9, el Señor dice,

“Y en aquel día yo procuraré destruir a todas las naciones que vinieren contra Jerusalén”. 

Los líderes de América han estado presionando a Israel a permitir el establecimiento de una nación administrada por terroristas en Judea y Jerusalén y las consecuencias son severas. 

La Administración Bush fue la primera públicamente en apoyar el establecimiento de un estado palestino dentro de las fronteras de Israel. El presidente Bush  ejerció con exceso presión sobre el gobierno israelí para labrar esta nueva nación “palestina” en el Banco Oeste, las tradicionales tierras judías de Judea y Samaria, y en Gaza. Bush forzó la así llamada elección democrática del liderazgo para el pueblo palestino, que escogió a los terroristas de Hamas apoyados por Irán en lugar de los terroristas de la Organización de Liberación de Palestina, y se establecieron en Gaza – la primera prueba verdadera de un estado Palestino que se esperaba viviera lado a lado con Israel. Pero no hubo paz permanente toda vez que misiles terroristas eran lanzados desde Gaza en pueblos israelís indefensos.

Entrada la Administración actual, el Jefe de la Casa Blanca envió un fuerte mensaje a los líderes de Israel de que si quisieran la protección contra de las amenazas nucleares de Irán, debían aceptar el establecimiento de una nación palestina. La Casa Blanca está usando la relación largamente establecida con Israel para ejercer presión sobre la nación, mientras que al mismo tiempo tiende la mano a los estados terroristas como Irán, lo cual apalanca a Israel aun más. El rey Abdullah de Jordania dio una valoración detallada de la situación. Abdullah le dijo al London Times, lo siguiente: 

“Los americanos ven esto como nosotros y pienso que los europeos también. Gran Bretaña juega un papel vital y  muy proactivo, más de lo que alguna vez he visto en los diez años de mi experiencia en traer a  las personas juntas”. 

Abdullah, cuyo plan es dividir aun Jerusalén entre Israel y los palestinos, dice que la tercera parte del mundo no reconoce Israel – él habla de los 57 estados árabes. Y él dice que Estados Unidos y Europa están de acuerdo con él que: “Si el único jugador en esta ecuación entre el Oeste, los árabes y los musulmanes que no es de ayuda y va en contra de la paz es Israel, entonces llamémosle por lo que es. Dejemos que Israel entienda que el mundo ve la política israelí por lo que es”. 

La profecía de Zacarías está en acción. Y hay consecuencias obvias – el mundo, especialmente Estados Unidos, está en una dura agitación económica y social. Y como la palabra de Dios es cierta, hay mucho más por venir contra esta poderosa nación a menos que el curso que está tomando sea puesto al revés.

A WORLD IN TURMOIL

Let’s pray together….. Father in heaven, thank You so much for the grace of God. Thank You, Father, that when we were lost through Jesus You reached out to save and redeem us. Father, tonight, as we talk about the world, a world in deep trouble, grant to us eyes to see and ears to hear and hearts to comprehend the reality of the coming of our Lord, to bring hope to this world. In Christ’s name. Amen.

Our topic tonight is “A World in Turmoil, Is Mankind’s End Really Near?”…..

Pilots have a very difficult time navigating if the airport they’re flying into is nestled in the mountains. In fact, on a clear day it can be difficult to land, but if that clear day changes to fog, the dangerous approach becomes even more dangerous. In December of 1995, an American Airlines pilot was flying into Cali in the interior of Colombia. As he flew in, his worst nightmare occurred. The cloud levels were low. The airport was fogged in. It was necessary for him to make an instrument landing and to have clear signals from the control tower. The individual at the control tower spoke Spanish. The American Airlines pilot spoke only English. And as they attempted to communicate, there was a miscommunication. Now, we can’t be exactly sure why the accident took place, but when the FAA investigated, they discovered that there was a garbled message. The airline pilot misunderstood the message, and in the deep fog, banked into the mountains. The plane crashed, and everybody aboard was killed! A garbled message, a misunderstood message, led to a fatality.

Indeed, Planet Earth is spinning through space at some 66,000 miles an hour. The fog is thick. The runway approach before the final touchdown of earth is treacherous. Indeed, it’s important to have signals of where we are and to understand the signs just before that final approach. Jesus’ final message to mankind is a message of hope. It’s a message that speaks to men and women in a society where there is deep trouble. In fact, Jesus said this to His disciples, as He sat on the Mount of Olives: “Let not your heart be troubled.” (John 14:1) Then He went on to say, “Ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I to go prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you,” Jesus said, “I will come again and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” So Jesus said, when you see wars, when you see conflict, when you see strife, when you see famine and earthquake and pestilence, when you see rising crime and violence, when you see difficulties on earth, let not your heart be troubled.

So, Jesus’ message is one that lifts us above what we see. It lifts us above the morning news. It focuses us on the event that’s just about to take place. Jesus said, “I WILL come again,” not ‘maybe’ I’ll come again, not ‘perhaps’ I’ll come again. Jesus’ statement is clear. “I WILL come again.”

Later, seated on the Mount of Olives, Jesus looked over the city of Jerusalem, and He pointed to the temple, that great magnificent temple. And Jesus said that when the Roman armies attacked Jerusalem, they would not leave one stone upon the other. The disciples, looking down at the temple, thought that an event as cataclysmic as the destruction of the temple, an event as earth-shattering as the destruction of the Jewish temple, must surely be the end of the world.

They sat there as Jesus described the Roman armies coming down to attack Jerusalem, an event that would take place in 70 AD. As the disciples heard of that event, they said to Jesus, “Master, we have a question for You.” “Yes?” Jesus responded, as He always does graciously to our questions. They said, “Tell us, when will these things be?” When would Jerusalem be destroyed?
When would Titus’ army come down? When would that destruction occur? And then they said, “What will be the sign of Your coming and the end of the age?” You see, the disciples thought that any event that was as earth-shattering as the destruction of Jerusalem must be the end of the world. So, they said to Jesus, “What will be the sign of Your coming in the end of the age?” Jesus then, in a masterful presentation, described signs that would occur in the first century, that would lead up to the destruction of Jerusalem by Roman soldiers under Titus. Then Jesus outlined to those disciples the fact that those signs in miniature in the first century would be on a universal, global scale in the last century.
Now, let me insert this: Tonight, we’re going to look at the signs Jesus gave of His soon return. And as we look at these signs, you might be led to ask a question. Your question might be, “Haven’t those signs been present in the world since the first century?” Indeed, they have. Jesus said that they would be in miniature in the first century, then be in every century. Then you say, “What’s the difference then? How could they be signs of the end?” Today, those signs are occurring with increasing magnitude. Today, they’re occurring on a universal scale. Today, they are occurring together all at the same time. So it’s not that these signs never occurred before, it is their frequency. It is their increased tempo. It is the fact that they all are happening in one generation. What are those signs, those signs of Jesus’ return, those signs that Christ gave because the disciples said, “What shall be the sign of your coming? And the end of the world?”

Jesus said these signs will occur! Christ lists more than 20 different ones, and tonight we’re going to look at the 15 major signs of Christ’s return…..

1 – False christs and false prophets

Jesus began by talking about false christs and false prophets. He said, in fact, in Matthew 24:5,11,24: “For false christs and false prophets shall arise.” Jesus said just before His return, there would be an explosion of interest in psychic phenomena, an explosion of interest in the ‘new age’ movement, an explosion of interest in the occult, an explosion of interest in the paranormal, an explosion of interest in things like astrology. In fact, there are over 3,000 astrology columns in North American newspapers!

Today I was talking a little earlier to our translators, translating this message into German, Romanian, Yugoslavian, Croatian and Serbian, talking to the translators from Europe and around the world…..and I said to them, “Is there an upsurge of interest in your country in astrology, in the occult, in the ‘dark’ sciences?” They said, “Yes, those occult magical arts are exploding in our countries!” Indeed, 3,000 astrology columns in newspaper!

You know, a friend of mine, Ralph Blodgett, in the (formerly ‘These Times’) now ‘Signs of the Times’ magazine, did a survey of astrologers’ predictions. This is what he discovered: He studied 250 specific published predictions of the astrologers. He found that less than 3%, or 6 out of 250, might be reasonably listed as fulfilled, but that 97% missed the mark completely! Now, look, I don’t care who you are, but I think you could guess better than that! What do you say, friend? Jesus said there would be an explosion of interest in psychic phenomenon, an explosion of interest in the occult arts.

You know, I live in Thousand Oaks, California, not far from Hollywood…..and there is a rage now in Hollywood. Many of the Hollywood personalities have really troubled lives. They have marriages that are in deep trouble. Many of them have problems with alcohol, drugs, and other problems…..it’s well-known in Hollywood that many of the Hollywood personalities have these problems, and so alot of them are turning now to spirit guides to tap into the occult or spiritualistic or ‘new age’ movement. One rage in Hollywood is seeking spirit guides like Mafu, Ramtha and Lazaris. This spirit guide, Lazaris, has a two-year waiting list for private consultations at $93 an hour! And now you can ‘reach out and touch’ Lazaris by phone and have $53 billed to your credit card! I don’t recommend it, friend, and neither does Jesus.

We have a sure word of guidance in God’s word, but these are indications of the coming of Jesus: false christs and false prophets. The ‘new age’ movement is taking the world by storm, with its false concepts of meditation where people try to meditate on the God within themselves. The only meditation I want to do is meditating on the Word of God, meditating on the Scriptures, on the Psalms and Proverbs. The Bible says these signs indeed would be signs just before the coming of Jesus Christ.

2 – International conflict

Secondly, there would be international conflict. Jesus predicted: “You shall hear of wars and rumors of wars.” Now, notice that Jesus doesn’t say there will be a war. Folks, haven’t there been wars down through the centuries? Yes, but what did Jesus say?

There will be not a war, but wars and rumors of wars. “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.” Universal war, conflict on a global scale, conflict on an international scale.

As you and I look out over our world today, it’s well to remember that in this century, we have seen World War I and World War II. In World War I, there were some 20 million deaths. In World War II, some 50 million deaths. This century has experienced the Korean conflict, the Vietnam war with a million South Vietnamese, half a million North Vietnamese, and thousands of Americans killed. In fact, with the Indochina war, taking tens of thousands of lives, the Algerian war, the Bosnia-Herzegovina war, and tribal wars in Africa, the 20th century is the bloodiest century of them all!

Ladies and gentlemen, these prophecies are indeed being fulfilled before our very eyes. Wars and rumors of wars exploding in this century. Jesus’ sign that false christs and false prophets will arise are indeed being fulfilled in the occult, spiritualism and the ‘new age’ movements. Jesus’ sign of wars and rumors of wars and conflict and strife are indeed occurring around the world. Jesus goes on, as He discusses it with His disciples, in Luke 21:25: “And there shall be…..upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring.” Distress of nations! The marching feet of the armies throughout the world indicate that we are on the verge of the kingdom of God.

3 – Potential for worldwide destruction

Sign number three: Jesus would come at a time in which the world would have the potential for world destruction. Never before in history has the human race had the capacity to destroy itself, never before in history have we armed ourselves to the teeth! Only in this century could the human race destroy itself. Thermonuclear warfare is a new introduction into our society. And the Bible says, in the book of Revelation (Revelation is the last book in the Bible, written to the last generation of men and women that would live on Planet Earth) in Revelation 11:18, that Christ would come to — do what, friends? (read it with me, please) — to “destroy them which destroy the earth.” So, Jesus would come at a time in which the human race would have that capacity. Jesus would come at a time when the human race would have the wherewithal, the scientific technology, to destroy all life on our planet called Earth.

Indeed, we have that capacity tonight. Never before in history have we had the kind of nuclear potential that we have tonight. In fact, Sir Charles Snow said this: “We know with certainty of statistical truth that if enough of these weapons are made by enough states, some of them are going to blow up through accident, folly, or madness. You cannot continue to build nuclear weapons without some nation using them.” At least five nations are known to have nuclear capacity, and many other nations are developing that nuclear capacity. You say, “But I thought that we have defused the nuclear threat!” Well, if you have 11,500 nuclear warheads, and you drop it down by 3,500, and you still have 8,500 left, it’s like saying, “Well, you got on an airplane and they had eleven bombs but you took three away, so you have a lot of confidence flying now because they only have eight, right?” I praise God for all efforts toward peace, but the truth of the matter is, this world is a very dangerous place. But Jesus says, “Let not your heart be — what, everybody? Let not your heart be what? — troubled.” We are defusing the nuclear threat. But there is a concern, and I would like to suggest to you that the world is less safe tonight than it was ten years ago.

Now you may want to debate that question, but follow my reasoning…..in ‘Time’ magazine’s article, “What About the Nukes?” Under the former Soviet Union, before the breakup of the Soviet Union, nuclear arsenals were guarded carefully. Since the break up of the Soviet Union, there are nuclear missiles, of course, still in Russia. There are nuclear missiles in Kazakstan, and there are nuclear missiles in the Ukraine. Since the breakup of the former Soviet Union, there has been some laxness in security, and there is evidence that some nuclear-grade material has been sold, possibly to Iran, according to ‘U.S. News and World Report.’ Did you read the report about some nuclear material getting in the hands of undesirables, who were arrested in Munich, Germany? What about that nuclear cache that was being sold in the Baltic States? In fact, ‘Popular Mechanics’ had a front page article called, “When Terrorists Go Nuclear.” Now this is frightening! In fact, January 1996, ‘Popular Mechanics’ said, “If a terrorist group or rogue state gets a hold of such material from smugglers, it may solve the single most difficult problem in building a bomb. What if certain officials in the cash-starved former Soviet Union sold their plutonium and other nuclear-grade material? What if it went into the hands of terrorist states in the Middle East or other parts of the world? Radicals…..what if they held some western states hostage? That scenario, according to some leading thinkers, is very possible.

But, friend of mine, Jesus says that He will come at a time that the human race has the capacity to destroy itself and that things will become unwieldy before the time of the end. But, thank God, Jesus says, “Let not your heart be troubled!” No, this world will not be destroyed in some spinning global blast, although Walter Lippmann, the columnist, says, “We are poised on the brink of the most calamitous conflict that can be imagined. Indeed, it cannot even BE imagined.” The good news is that Christ is on the way. The good news is that the second coming of Jesus is the blessed hope for a world that is in deep trouble.

4 – Fragile peace agreements

The Bible then lists the next sign, sign number four: Fragile peace agreements. The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:3 (please read it with me): “When they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them…..and they shall not escape.” They will be saying, “Peace and safety.” That word “safety” comes from a Greek word meaning ‘security.’ Security at home and peace abroad? The nations will be signing peace treaties, but as soon as the ink on the treaties is dry, there will be more conflagration. Look around the world tonight: a shaky peace. Would you agree with me that the peace in the Middle East is shaky at best? Would you agree with me that the peace in Northern Ireland is shaky tonight? Look at what happened in the last day or two: more car bombs going off in Ireland! A shaky peace. In the former Yugoslavia, we pray for peace. We thank God that in Bosnia that Croatians and Serbians are studying the word of God in these meetings together! We believe that Jesus, the Prince of Peace, can bring peace to any land. In Rwanda, the Hutus and Tutsis: shaky peace. The former USSR, Chechnya, Armenia: shaky peace. Around the world, in the African nations: shaky peace. Some places in south America: shaky peace. We see it around the world. Jesus says, “When they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them.”

5 – Famines

Sign number five: Famines. The Bible describes our day. Jesus said in Matthew 24:6,7: “There shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.” Famines. The truth of the matter is, although many of us each day get adequate food, we sometimes forget that around the world little children with distended bellies are starving. According to the United Nations environmental studies, three billion acres of productive land has been damaged by human activity since 1945. Technology, and industrialization is destroying it. In some areas, the ability to keep up with food production is being destroyed. Environmentalists are concerned about it. Look at some of the nations in Africa! Lester Brown, the president of the World Watch Institute in Washington, D.C., says, “The entire world is living hand to mouth, trying to make it from one harvest to the next. One bad harvest could plunge millions into famine.”

Take a look at the figures around the world: Approximately 57 million people die each year because of famine. This amounts to 156,000 people every day! Let your mind grasp that! One hundred fifty six thousand people a day dying of famine! Of the world’s population of five billion, 60 percent are malnourished and 20 percent, according to the UN, are starving! Jesus said that there will be famines, not A famine, and around the world tonight, these prophecies are being fulfilled. Now, the problem is that with a growing population in the world, with an increased population, these countries can’t feed their multitudes, and the problem gets worse. By the year 2050, the earth’s population will be 9.5 billion. (Today it ranges somewhat over 5 billion.) Estimates are by the year 2120 it will be 12 billion! The problem of feeding earth’s multitudes is growing greater and greater. The problem of famine, the problem of world hunger, indeed, is a major significant problem. The Bible says that there will be famines and that there will be earthquakes in diverse places. Indeed, when you look out at the world tonight, there are famines that are devastating this world. How long will Jesus allow this to go on? Jesus, come quickly, and save the little children from starvation!

6 – Pestilences

Sign number six: there will be pestilences. In fact, the Bible says in Matthew 24:7: “And there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.” What is a pestilence? How do you define pestilence? The original word in the Greek language for pestilence (and the language of the New Testament is Greek) is the word ‘plague’ or ‘disease.’ So we might read in the text that there will be famines and strange diseases, diseases that antibiotics in particular don’t seem to touch. Just before the time of the end, you can expect unusually strange diseases…..new plagues of AIDS, malaria, Lyme disease, the marbug virus, legionnaire’s disease, the hanta virus. New forms of syphilis and gonorrhea and cholera are all breaking out randomly. Around the world tonight, there are pestilences, strange diseases that seem to be baffling scientific technology. We create antibiotics, but there are strains of diseases that are resistant to those antibiotics. Jesus said, false christs and false prophets…..we see them. An explosion in the occult world…..we see it. Jesus said, wars and rumors of wars, World War I, World War II, instability…..we see it. Jesus said, the capacity to destroy ourselves, nuclear weaponry…..it is here. Jesus said, movements of peace occurring in our world. Jesus said, famines…..indeed, before our very eyes, a hungry world. Jesus said, pestilences, strange diseases around the world…..they are occurring. The World Health Organization predicts 40
million cases of HIV by the year 2000! These prophecies are being fulfilledbefore our very eyes.

7 – Environmental pollution

Sign number seven: environmental pollution. The book of Isaiah, talking about the end of time, talking about the coming of Jesus, says, in Isaiah 51:6, “The earth will grow old like a garment.” Now when a garment gets old, what happens? Well, it might be frayed, it might have some holes in it, it might lose its color. It loses its freshness and newness. Is the earth losing its freshness and newness? Is the air like it was in the Garden of Eden, fresh and clean? Is the water pure, or do you even have to have a water filter at your house? What about the food? Is it free from pesticides?
Remember, the Bible says that Christ would destroy those who destroy the earth!

One way to destroy the earth is through nuclear weaponry. Another way is through industrial technology, polluting the atmosphere. Remember not long ago there was in Rio de Janeiro a world conference on the environment called “Save the Earth.” So while human beings are talking about saving the earth, cleaning up the air, cleaning up the water, cleaning up the food, Jesus talks about saving the earth. He says, let not your heart be troubled, when the earth is polluted. Let not your heart be troubled, when you can’t breathe the air, when you can’t drink the water. Let not your heart be troubled because the solution is not in the hands of man. Jesus said, “I will come again.”
When the oceans are being polluted, “I will come again.” When the atmosphere is difficult to breathe, “I will come again.”

A warning: In Los Angeles in a playground for children, do not exercise strenuously…..or breathe deeply during heavy smog conditions. In Tokyo, in fact, some traffic police now have actually begun to wear gas masks! Scientists frankly warn of the possible death of our planet. But yet, when for many our planet is deteriorating, there is a blessed hope, the blessed hope of the coming of the Lord that will create a new planet of this earth.

You know, one of the greatest contaminants, greatest pollutants, is nuclear waste. What do you do with nuclear waste? Where do you dump it? This scientific article on the screen was entitled “Nuclear Garbage, the Deadly Potential.” Here is a map, a map of the United States. Each of the green circles you see on the map are places where the United States government has buried nuclear reactive material. Now look at the eastern seaboard, for example. Nuclear waste site after nuclear waste site! Look at the Midwest, look at the west coast….. Now, we are told that this nuclear material encased in protective lead containers is safe. But what if there were an earthquake? Or some freak of nature released that radioactivity? I am not a scientist, I am not smart enough to know exactly how that would occur, but I know this: the potential exists. Jesus said He would come, at a time when menand women have the capacity to destroy themselves. And Jesus would say,”Gentlemen, ladies, it is closing time!”

8 – Earthquakes

Sign number eight: Jesus said that there would be — what is it, everybody? — earthquakes. There is a whole lot of shaking going on! Somebody said to me recently, “Well, Mark, I really question whether earthquakes have gone up.
I think your statistics are out of date.” So we checked with the geophysicists at the Geological Science Center in Washington. Each year, we have 6,000+ major earthquakes in the world! In fact, fatalities in the last 90 years have totalled 1.5 million, from earthquakes alone. And the number of earthquakes are on the rise. Jesus said in Matthew chapter 24: “And there will be earthquakes.” It was in January, a couple of years back, that I went to sleep one night in my home outside of Los Angeles, at nine o’clock in the evening, 9:30…..and at 4:17 in the morning, my wife grabbed me and said, “Mark, Mark, wake up!” I mean, I even could sleep through an earthquake! She said, “Something is going on!” The chandeliers were dancing, and the windows were crashing…..amazing…..our house was shaking! And so I got up out of bed and ran to my son…..the bookcase had crashed down on his bed! And so we went through that Los Angeles earthquake….. Indeed, the Bible says, there would be earthquakes, not only in Los Angeles, but in Japan, in Mexico, in Alaska. Earthquakes around the world indicate that all of nature has been thrown off its course. Something strange is happening. Why this upsurge in earthquakes with their resultant broken gas mains and fires?

9 – Natural disasters

Sign number nine: the Bible teaches that just before the coming of Jesus there would be strange phenomena in weather patterns. Notice: earthquakes, that’s natural disaster…..famine, that’s partially natural disaster…..pestilences,drought, diseases, “fearful sights and great signs from heaven.” Could thosebe tornadoes? Could that be a hurricane? Natural disasters “upon the earth,distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and waves roaring.” If you havebeen through a hurricane and you live on the coast, you know that the waves areroaring! The Bible says that there would be upsurge in nature. Look at ‘Life ‘magazine, and see that what we read in the Bible, you can read in the newsjournals today. “The Year of Killer Weather.” ‘Life’ says, “Why has naturegone mad?” In 1993, there was weather damage in the United States from arecord 1297 tornadoes! Well, add three more, because three came by here in Florida yesterday! Every year, there is an increase in natural disasters. This old world, friend, is groaning to be delivered. We’re on the verge of thecoming of Jesus. Did you read that article in ‘Life’ magazine, “When the BigOne Hits,” talking about a volcano?

Look, it says that it will have the power of a million atom bombs! It says that it will be heard a thousand miles away! It could happen, ‘Life’ said, sooner than you think. “Let not your heart be — what, everybody? — troubled.” If I look around me, my heart is troubled. But if I look above me, there is peace and confidence, because these signs indicate the birth pangs of a world ready to be delivered. There will be increased natural disasters, fires, floods…..strange Midwest flooding…..torrential rains that come, weather patterns that are bizarre, upheaval in nature, increased tornadoes…..buildings blown apart. There is no security on earth. Increased natural disasters indicate that your home can be gone in a moment, flooded out, destroyed by a hurricane or tornado. The only security is Jesus Christ. The only security is knowing Him. The only security is the fact that when the winds of the storm blow, Jesus is the Peacegiver, the Peacemaker. He who calmed the storm can calm our troubled hearts. He says, “Let not your heart be troubled.” Jesus Christ pointed forward to our day, He points beyond the headlines, and He points to His return.

10 – Moral Decay

Sign number ten: moral decay. Jesus said that before His coming, there would be a moral deterioration in our society. Jesus talked about the days of Noah. He pointed us back to Noah’s day in Matthew 24:37: “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” Just like the days of Noah…..the world was destroyed by water then, but it will be destroyed by fire the second time. What were the days of Noah like? The Bible says, in Genesis 6:6: “And God saw the wickedness of man was great in the earth.” There was widespread wickedness, widespread crime and wide spread violence in Noah’s day…..and then the rain fell. God said, “This is enough.” Earth was weighed in the judgment scale of heaven. There is a boundary beyond which God does not allow nations to go. The Bible says, “As the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Now what does the Bible mean when it says ‘they are marrying and giving in marriage?’ Anything wrong with marrying? Of course not. But, the Bible says, ‘marrying and giving in marriage’, in other words, with a looseness of marriage. Somebody said, “Marriage is like a belt. You put it on and if it’s too tight, you take it off and try another belt, another marriage. In fact, the marriage statistics today are absolutely staggering!
The statistics for our day indicate that husbands and wives are having deep trouble, trouble so deep, that many differences apparently become irreconcilable. We are living in an age of rampant divorce. We are living in an age when the institution of marriage is falling apart. In 1900, there was one divorce in 12 marriages. In 1930, one divorce in six. In 1978, one divorce in three. In 1995, one divorce in two marriages! Jesus said “marrying and giving in marriage.” Teenage pregnancy is off the chart…..young people out of wedlock getting pregnant…..sexual immorality on television…..nudity paraded across the screen. The Bible says in Genesis 6:5, “The wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” Jesus said, “Enough immorality, enough sexual exploitation, enough degrading that which is pure and holy.” The thoughts of their hearts evil continually…..

Did you notice that recent article in ‘Time’ magazine called “Cyberporn,” talking about the computer and the Internet? Carnegie Mellon researchers did a study and said, “Porn is immensely popular!” In an eighteen-month study, the Carnegie Mellon researchers found 917,410 sexually explicit pictures, short stories and film clips online! Oh, Jesus, our hearts have wandered from You! Our natures are fallen, and they turn toward evil. Oh, Jesus, change our hearts, change our minds. And oh, Jesus, come quickly, and put an end to this filth and this smut on earth. The signs of the times are clear, and the Bible describes that Christ coming is near.

11 – Rising crime and violence

Sign number eleven: rising crime and violence. The United States is in themidst of a political election. Incidentally, I would much rather know the wordof God than to know the outcome of some election. That’s why I think it’sbetter to be here than just eavesdropping on some debate. But I know none ofyou would stay away from my meetings to go to any political debate or even watch it on TV! You better be here tomorrow night — we’re going to takeattendance! No…..excuse me…..

Sign number eleven…..rising crime and violence. (I’ll see where your loyalty is tomorrow night!) Rising crime and violence…..the Bible talks about the days of Noah. There in the days of Noah, it says in Genesis 6:11: “The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.” The earth was filled with violence in Noah’s day, and today, the earth is filled with violence. In ‘U.S. News and World Report,’ a feature article, “Kids Who Kill.” In fact, my son happened to be playing basketball at a school in Los Angeles, so I went with him to watch him play. And when we entered in through a very narrow, gated passageway, there was a sign that said: “Students, please, if you have any weapons, check them at the office. No guns are allowed on campus.” You know, one news magazine said, “Disputes once settled with fists between kids are now settled with guns.” Every hundred hours more youth die in the streets in the United States than were killed in the Persian Gulf warfare. Our schools are becoming battle zones! In fact, in North America including Canada and the United States, over 33 million violent crimes are committed each year. Crime is exploding!

Now, you may read some statistics that indicate that crime is going down, but that is not violent crime. The statistics indicate that violent crime continues to explode. In fact, 6250 teachers suffer bodily injury each year at the hands of their students. Two hundred thousand students miss classes because of being maimed or in fights or some violent activity. In Noah’s day — what did the Bible say? — the earth was filled with violence. This is not a North American phenomenon. You can see that, in any major city, immorality and violence fill the world. Today, corruption and violence…..you ask the Russians about corruption, it’s there. You ask eastern Europe about corruption, it’s there. Immorality, it’s there. Crime, it’s there. Violence, it’s there. Indeed, these Bible prophecies are being fulfilled before our very eyes. Jesus, through the apostle Paul put it this way in Matthew 24:12: “And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. Men’s love for one another will grow cold…..lawlessness will spread in our society.
The USA’s 1990 murder toll, this headline said, may be the worst ever.

12 – Attitudes of skepticism

Sign number twelve: An attitude of skepticism. There would be prevalent in our world before the coming of Christ, as there was before the flood, an attitude of skepticism. Remember that the prophecy that Jesus gave in Matthew 24:39 said that “they did not know until the flood came and took them all away.” That is, they could have known ( Noah preached decade after decade) but they closed their ears, they shut their eyes, they closed their minds to truth. The Bible says in 2 Peter 3:3,4: “Scoffers will come in the last days.” What days? The last days. And who will come? Scoffers, saying, “Where is the promise of His coming?” They say, “Oh, we’ve always had wars.
There have always been movements of peace. There have always been famines,earthquakes, crime and violence.” They fail to see the increased frequency of the signs. They fail to see that all the signs are currently present andcombined. The Bible says that those with an attitude of skepticism, those with an attitude of unbelief, actually without their knowledge are fulfilling Bibleprophecy, because the ones who are scoffing are mentioned in the Bible. They will come in the last days, saying, “Where is the promise of His coming?” So, around the world, just like it was in Noah’s day, they say, “Oh, Jesus not going to come. What are you, crazy? I mean, come on now…..are you some wild-eyed fanatic? Do you actually believe that Jesus is going to come?” Do you have a better solution for the world’s problems, brother? Sister? Ma’am? Sir? Ladies? Gentlemen? Do you have a better solution? The best solution that I know of is the blessed hope. There is hope for this wartorn weary world. There is hope for this confused, chaotic planet. There is hope for ourchildren in trouble. There is hope for this polluted earth. This is hope in the coming of Jesus Christ.

13 – Lovers of Pleasure

Sign number thirteen: lovers of pleasure. The Bible says that while they’re scoffing (2 Timothy 3:4) they will be “lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God.” The sports stadiums are jammed, the casinos are jammed. In the United States, Las Vegas is the number one tourist attraction. It actually beat out Orlando! In fact, night spots are jammed…..bars, parties, amusement centers, all jammed. Lovers of, what? — “Pleasure more than lovers of God,” a characteristic of our time. The Bible says that men and women in the last days would treat their bodies as a fun house rather than as the temple of God. “Lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God”…..28% of all alcoholics are under the age of 18. “Lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God”…..In the past ten years, cocaine use by teens has risen 400%. Why? Because when your life is miserable, you need some temporary high, at least people think they need a temporary high. Mass media has glorified sex and immorality. “Lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God.” Bible prophecies are being fulfilled before our very eyes. As you and I look, those Bible prophecies are coming to pass. For this generation, God says, “Look up, My coming is near!” God says that the sands in the hourglass of time are running out.

14 – Economic uncertainty

Sign number fouteen: economic uncertainty. Jesus said that before His coming there would be signs in the economic world, signs in the financial quarter. Now notice, each of the texts I’ve read to you tonight are in the context of the second coming of Christ. So, in the book of James, chapter 5:1-4: “Now listen, you rich people, weep and wail because of the misery that is coming upon you.” If misery is coming upon the financially wealthy, that must indicate some economic collapse. Notice, “Your wealth has rotted. Moths have eaten your clothes. Your gold and silver is corroded.” In other words, there will be quick devaluation of currency. And we go on, “You have hoarded wealth together in the last days.” This is in the context of the second coming of Christ. Look, “The wages you failed to pay the workers who mowed your fields are crying out against you.” The text goes on, “The cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Almighty. You have lived on earth in luxury and self-indulgence.”

There will be a wide disparity between those that have and those that have not. There will be ultimately, according to James, a period of economic difficulty. Our economy in the United States right now is in a better economic condition than it was a short time ago, but these spirals come and go. Look at our national debt: according to the Statistical Forecast of the United States, James Pierson, 1993….. In 1989, the United States owed three trillion dollars. The forecast was that by 1999, we would owe $5 trillion.
The truth is that, right now, we owe about $4.5 trillion. How can we possibly continue in any society when the debt gets so high and our debt service interest payments are so great?

What if a couple of major nations defaulted? What if inflation went ‘runaway’? Notice an article,”The Economic Perils Ahead,” from ‘Time’ magazine: The forecasters are concerned that the economy of Germany that was so stable a few years ago, with the union of East and West Germany is much less stable today. The economy of the Japanese yen was a standard, but now Japan is having its economic difficulties…..around the world, a shaky economy. Howard Ruff wrote a book, “How to Prosper in the Coming Bad Years.” The way to prosper: “Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in Me,” Jesus said, “I will come again.” There is a solution for the problems of this weary world, for the world facing catastrophe.

15 – The gospel going to the world

Sign number fifteen: Jesus said that this is the final sign. Jesus said, “When you see this sign, know that My coming is near.” Jesus said that this is the last one, the final one. Please read Matthew 24:14 with me: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” The final sign, the last sign before the coming of Jesus, is the gospel going to the world. Revelation 14:6 says, “I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven”….. (an ‘angel’ is a message, and the message would fly in ‘midheaven’ via satellite technology, via radio, via television) …..”having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth, to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people.” Tonight, witness this experience: satellite technology to proclaim the gospel is a fulfillment of revelation, and it is Jesus lovingly proclaiming His biblical message to the world. Christ wants to get the message out! And He is using every way possible to get that message out.

Have you noticed the marvelous events of the last few years? Have you noticed the fall of the Berlin Wall? After 70 years of communism, 70 years of oppression, yet almost in an instant, the prayers of God’s people in East and West Germany were answered! And the prayers of God’s people in Romania were answered, and those of God’s people in Yugoslavia and Poland and Croatia. The tyranny of the past came crumbling down! I was in Hungary the night that the Berlin wall fell, in Hungary holding meetings when 100,000 people marched in the streets there. Yes, during the tyranny of the past, the militaristic regime of the past, the people did not have the opportunity to hear the word of God. But God said, “That’s enough.” God said, “My people have suffered tyranny and atheism enough!” So, men and women coming to Christ (you’re looking at Moscow’s Olympic stadium) thousands came there to be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

All across Eastern Europe today, God is opening doors. Men and women are accepting Christ. And you talk about eastern Europe, talk about China! I was in China recently…..again, doors are opening for the gospel! Underground presses are printing literature with thousands of pages going out, there are house churches by the hundreds and thousands. Men and women are accepting Christ, following Him, being baptized, around the world into this gospel of the Kingdom. In the continent of Africa, some countries are experiencing a spiritual revival. In some countries in South America, the gospel is going out powerfully. There is spiritual revival with thousands coming to Christ in Brazil, thousands coming to Christ in Mexico. There are large radio transmitters, with one radio transmitter in Siberia covering a good portion the world. Indeed, thousands are hearing the gospel! We are getting reports all over the world that it’s closing time. Men and women are accepting Jesus, men and women coming to Christ. We’re living on the verge of the kingdom of God, and tonight, our hearts cry out, in the sorrows of our lives, in the disappointments of our lives. Oh, Jesus, come quickly! Every time we lay a wife to rest, oh, Jesus, come quickly! Every time we lay a husband to rest, oh, Jesus, come quickly! Every time a child dies, oh, Jesus come quickly!
Reading those reports of famine, distended bellies in those little children, Jesus, come quickly! Reading those reports of the suffering because of violence and drive-by shootings, Jesus come quickly! Reading those reports of earthquakes shaking homes and hundreds dying, Jesus, come quickly! Reading those reports of hurricanes and tornadoes, Jesus, come quickly! Reading those reports of broken homes and broken hearts and broken lives and shattered dreams and divorces, oh, Jesus, come quickly!

Listen, as Ralph sings…..

A father and his children see their mother die in pain, and as they stand beside her bed and watch her slip away, he looks into their eyes and wonders how he can explain in this world we live in why there’s so much pain. But when Jesus comes in clouds of glory, He’ll take the suffering away. When Jesus comes, we’ll live in glory. There will be no sin, there will be no pain forever and a day. A broken hearted housewife sees her husband walk away. All those years together vanished in just one day. As she turns with tear-filled eyes to her little one so dear, how will she answer, “Mommy, why isn’t daddy here?” But when Jesus comes in clouds of glory, He’ll take the suffering away. When Jesus comes, we’ll live in glory. There will be no sin, there will be no pain forever and a day. The signs are all around us, that His coming’s very near, in a world that fills our hearts with fear. Let not your heart be troubled, just keep the Savior near. He promised to come take us home, the time is nearly here. And when Jesus comes in clouds of glory, He’ll take the suffering away. When Jesus comes, we’ll live in glory. There will be no sin, there will be no pain forever and a day. There will be no sin, there will be no pain forever and a day.

Tonight, as we pray, is there anything in your life that would keep you from being ready for the coming of Jesus…..any habit in your life, any attitude in your life? I’m yours. Jesus, take me, I’m yours.” Just slip up your hand…..I’ll pray for you. O, Jesus, just now we give our lives to you. The signs indicate that Your coming is near, so near, but You’ve told us “Let not your heart be troubled.” We’re thankful that forever and ever and ever,
we can live with You throughout all eternity. In Christ’s name, Amen.

La caída de las remesas hacia América Latina, a causa de la crisis financiera mundial, amenaza a hogares de medianos y escasos recursos, especialmente en naciones donde esos ingresos representan proporciones importantes del producto interno bruto (PIB).

Para algunas familias, la contracción de las remesas de trabajadores emigrantes puede significar no comer por algunos días, “así de sencillo y trágico”, dijo a IPS el investigador en cuestiones migratorias Gabriel Polanco, de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.

La Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (Cepal) prevé una reducción moderada de los envíos familiares de dinero hacia la región. Pero su impacto podría ser mayor en países como El Salvador, República Dominicana o México, primer receptor latinoamericano de esos recursos.

Según Polanco, no hay aún datos ni evidencias de que la caída de las remesas esté generando ya problemas sociales importantes. “Pero si continúa el ciclo, es posible que pronto comencemos a sentirlo y verlo en algunas estadísticas”, alertó.

El descenso ya comenzó a reflejarse en cifras. Datos preliminares del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) indican que las remesas en algunos países de la región cayeron hasta 13 por ciento en enero. Según la institución, 2009 será el primer año de declive, tras una década de crecimiento continuo de esos flujos de divisas.

En México, el monto de las remesas, fundamentalmente desde Estados Unidos, registró una caída de 4,9 por ciento en el primer trimestre de 2009 respecto del mismo período de 2008. El año pasado, el total de esas transferencias privadas recibidas en este país sumó 25.145 millones de dólares, lo que representa 2,5 por ciento del PIB nacional.

En volumen de remesas, México encabeza la lista seguido por Brasil (7.200 millones de dólares), Colombia (4.842 millones), Guatemala (4.315), El Salvador (3.788), República Dominicana (3.111), Perú (2.960), Ecuador (2.822) y Honduras (2.701 millones), según el BID.

Estudiosos afirman que la recesión de Estados Unidos, las dificultades de los inmigrantes para encontrar empleo, el endurecimiento de las fiscalizaciones en los lugares de trabajo y la mayor vigilancia fronteriza influirán en la esperada contracción de las remesas para este año y los siguientes, si la crisis económica se profundiza.

En El Salvador, esto provocará una situación “dramática” en los hogares receptores más pobres, ya que los obligará a “focalizar aun más el consumo en bienes de primera necesidad”, sobre todo alimentos, aseguró a IPS el sociólogo Juan José García, especialista en migración y remesas.

La salvadoreña María Hernández comenzó a sentir hace meses el peso de la crisis. Con dos hijos residentes en Estados Unidos, ella contaba con una ayuda mensual de entre 400 y 500 dólares, que cesó en octubre de 2008. “El envío de remesas se ha detenido, afortunadamente estoy acostumbrada a trabajar”, dijo Hernández a IPS.

En ese país centroamericano las remesas que reciben 381.700 familias –equivalentes a 27 por ciento de la poblaación– se destinan casi por completo a alimentación, vestido, pago de servicios básicos, educación y salud. Las mujeres encabezan 52 por ciento de los hogares receptores.

También en República Dominicana la mayoría de las familias beneficiarias de remesas tienen a una mujer como jefa de hogar. “Cada mes, mi hija me envía 150 dólares. Este dinero lo utilizo para pagar la escuela de otros cuatro hijos, comprar alimento y mejorar mi casa”, contó a IPS Elida Jiménez, de 55 años.

La contracción afectará a 73.650 hogares dominicanos que dejarán de recibir remesas en 2009, empeorando sus condiciones de vida, especialmente en las familias de jefatura femenina.

Las mujeres tienen protagonismo en los dos extremos del fenómeno. Las inmigrantes bolivianas en España envían cada año a su país el equivalente a 5,95 por ciento del PIB nacional, según el español Centro de Investigación y Cooperación Especializado en Remesas de Inmigrantes.

En Cuba, el impacto de la crisis global se verá “suavizado” por las recientes medidas del gobierno estadounidense de Barack Obama, coinciden investigadores.

En 2004, el presidente George W. Bush (2001-2009) había limitado a uno cada tres años los viajes de cubanos residentes en Estados Unidos a este país isleño y a un máximo de 300 dólares trimestrales los envíos a sus familiares directos. Obama eliminó los topes a los montos y las frecuencias y amplió el espectro de receptores a los parientes hasta tercer grado.

“Quizás por la crisis no habría un aumento a corto plazo, pero tampoco se prevé disminución. Creo que no habrá más impacto que el que ya hubo a partir de 2004″, comentó a IPS un economista cubano que no quiso identificarse. En su opinión, cualquiera sea el volumen, las remesas aportan ingresos netos al país.

Dado el componente ideológico del conflicto con Estados Unidos, las autoridades cubanas evitan los datos estadísticos sobre el monto anual de remesas, la mayoría desde ese país en el que residen más de un millón de inmigrantes cubanos.

Basándose en cálculos sobre ventas de la red comercial en divisa libremente convertible (CUC), que abastece alimentos, menaje del hogar, ropa, calzado y electrodomésticos, economistas estiman en más de 1.000 millones de dólares el monto anual de las remesas cubanas.

El centro de estudios Diálogo Interamericano, con sede en Washington, habla de 830 y 985 millones de dólares, de los cuales 53 por ciento proviene de Estados Unidos, 23 por ciento de España y 24 por ciento desde otros países.

Cerca de 40 por ciento de las remesas desde Estados Unidos llegan por medios alternativos, una informalidad alimentada por las restricciones de Bush y por el gravamen de 20 por ciento que el gobierno cubano aplica al dólar estadounidense. “La Western Union me quita mucho”, se quejó una mujer que acababa de cobrar una transferencia a través de esa empresa.

En cambio, María, de 75 años, relató que “mi hija entrega 125 dólares en Miami y a mi me dan acá 100 CUC”, al explicar cómo funcionan las transferencias informales. “No sé, es como una agencia o negocio particular”, agregó. Con ese dinero, ella compra en la “shopin” (tienda en divisas) y satisface “gastos de la casa”.

Al parecer, esas redes funcionan de modo análogo a las transferencias electrónicas de empresas como Western Union: alguien recibe el dinero en Estados Unidos y avisa a su “agente” en Cuba que entregue a la persona indicada el monto equivalente en CUC.

En República Dominicana, apenas 10 por ciento de las remesas llegan por vía bancaria, y el resto por viajeros y agentes “remesadores”, dijo a IPS una fuente del Banco Central. Los costos de las transferencias bancarias son de unos 50 dólares.

El Banco Mundial calcula que un envío de 200 dólares desde Estados Unidos a una localidad mexicana tiene un costo promedio de 11,6 dólares. La principal vía de ingreso de esos fondos a México es Western Union.

Cifras del Banco Central salvadoreño indican que casi 76 por ciento de las remesas llegan por el sistema bancario y el resto por correos privados y encomenderos.

Según estudios académicos sobre política social en Cuba, las remesas se concentran en buena medida en la población blanca y de estratos medios. Son parte de una estrategia de supervivencia y elevación de ingresos planteada en el seno familiar a raíz de la crisis económica de los años 90.

El economista cubano Pedro Monreal llegó a la conclusión de que las remesas son ”un factor decisivo en la atenuación del empobrecimiento” de varios sectores de la población cubana y una importante fuente de ingresos para el presupuesto estatal, por la vía de impuestos indirectos.

Pero la manera en que esas transferencias se articularon en la economía contribuyó a ”la estratificación del consumo, la segmentación de los mercados y la exclusión social”, advirtió Monreal en su estudio “Migraciones y remesas familiares. Veinte hipótesis sobre el caso de Cuba”, publicado por la corresponsalía de IPS en La Habana.

LOS 144,000 DE APOCALIPSIS 7:4; 14:1

Introducción:

1. Nuestras Biblias están abiertas para una sección asombrosa de la visión de Juan. 4 ángeles están parados en las 4 esquinas de la tierra listos para enviar la ira de Dios sobre el hombre pecaminoso. Mientras comienzan son repentinamente detenidos con una orden a esperar hasta que los salvados son protegidos con un sello en sus frentes. El número sellado fue 144,000 de las 12 tribus de Israel. Estos deben recibir las bendiciones del cielo (v. 15-17). Mientras Juan inspecciona a la gran multitud se le pide pregunta, “¿quiénes son estos”? Ese es el foco de nuestro presente estudio.

II. Lo 144,000 de Apocalipsis 7 y 14 han causado gran debate.   

1. Especialmente la secta de los Testigos de Jehová enfatiza este número. De hecho, el sistema doctrinal entero de los “Testigos de Jehová” está fundado en los 144,000 como que es un número literal. Si usted alguna vez ha leído su literatura, o ha hablado largamente con ellos, usted sabe que esto es cierto.

2. El hecho de este número debe motivar un tema de debate a todos los creyentes para estudiarlo con intensidad. Tenemos una obligación para saber lo que se  quiso decir y cómo nos aplica a hoy (1 Pedro 3:15).

Cuerpo:

Una breve discusión de la doctrina de los Testigos de Jehová basados en este número.

A. Charles T. Russell profetizó que en 1914 el mundo acabaría con el Armagedón siendo peleado. Antes de que el Armagedón destruyese el mundo, Cristo debería regresar y llevarse a los 144,000 al cielo. Después del Armagedón los santos muertos serían resucitados y disfrutarían una tierra renovada (el nuevo Paraíso). Este segundo grupo, no llevado a cielo, sería llamado “la Grande muchedumbre”. Aquellos que vivirán sobre la tierra formarían el Reino de Cristo.

B. Aunque la profecía de Russell fracasó, el error de su profecía continúa.

1. Referente a los 144,000 los Testigos dicen que “éstos son los únicos que Jehová Dios llevará al cielo con Su Hijo. Todos los otros que ganen la vida en Su Nuevo Mundo vivirán en el Paraíso restaurado aquí en tierra ” (1958).

2. Los 2 grupos son supuestamente encontrados en Apocalipsis 7:4, 9. La “clase celestial” serán los 144,000 y la “clase terrenal” es llamada “la Grande muchedumbre”.

3. Para ofrecer la ilusión de sustento bíblico, es citado Juan 10:16. Se supone que las “otras ovejas” son la gran multitud en la tierra. ¡Tal idea es destruida con la última locución “un rebaño”, no dos!

C. Tal contorsión de  la Escritura es efectivo para crear confusión. ¡Lo que es un simple cuadro se distorsiona así!

II. la interpretación de los Testigos de Jehová es un error como los siguientes puntos mostrarán. ¡Si puede ser mostrado que los 144,000 y la Grande muchedumbre no son 2 grupos bien definidos sino sólo uno, el error será claro!

1. Ambos están frente el Trono y en el trono está Dios!  Apocalipsis. 7:15, 17 – la Gran Multitud está delante del trono; Apocalipsis 14:3 los 144,000 están delante del trono.

2. 2. Apo. 7: 15 – La grande muchedumbre Le sirve delante del  trono en el Templo. Dios está en el templo (Apo. 11:19); El trono está en un lugar santo (Apo. 4:2). ¿Cómo puede servir la Grande Muchedumbre en presencia de Dios si la doctrina de los Testigos de Jehová está en lo correcto? 

3. 3. ¡Así, ambos sirven a Dios en su presencia, frente al trono y en el Templo – son el mismo grupo!

1. La Gran Multitud está vestida de “túnicas blancas” ( Apo. 7:9, 13, 14).  

2. 1. Pero los 144,000 están también vestidos en túnicas blancas (Apo. 22:14).  

3. 2. Así, todos los que tienen sus túnicas lavadas en la sangre de Cristo estarán en la misma presencia de Dios, delante de Él, en su trono. Hay así sólo UN grupo, no 2!

Afirmar de hay 2 grupos de santos salvados contradice la Escritura. 

1. 1. ¡Juan 10:16 – no enseña 2 grupos, sino uno!  

2. 2. Efesios 2:15,16; 4:4; Romanos 12:5; 1 Corintios 12:13 – todos se unen indicando que sólo hay UN grupo de creyentes salvados! 

3. 3. ¡Si hay un grupo celestial y un grupo terrenal, entonces Efesios 4:4 está equivocado! ¡En lugar de uno debe haber dos!

EL MILENIO Y LA IGLESIA PRIMITIVA

El área de la escatología relacionada con el milenio está cargada de desarreglo hermenéutico.  Existen aquellos que afirman que el período de mil años (el milenio) a los que  se refiere el Libro de Apocalipsis en varias ocasiones (capítulo 20, versos 3, 4, 5, 7) no es literal.  Más bien, se cree que tiene un significado “espiritualizado” o alegórico. Esto es conocido como amilenialismo, y el prefijo “a” significa “no”, tal como un “ateo”  que no es un “teísta” (uno que cree en Dios) y un “agnóstico”, que mantiene no tener “conocimiento (“gnóstico” se deriva de la palabra griega para conocimiento). 

Otra opinión del milenio es el milenarismo; Es decir, el milenio ocurre antes de que el periodo de Tribulación de 7 años tenga lugar. Esto contradice el ordenamiento cronológico de Apocalipsis sin embargo, el cual detalla la Tribulación (capítulo 4-19), el regreso de Cristo (capítulo 19) y luego el reinado milenario (capítulo 20).  Lo que sigue es la consumación de todas las cosas y los nuevos cielos y la tierra nueva (capítulo 21-22). 

Es bien conocido entre los estudiosos e historiadores bíblicos que la fe de la Iglesia primitiva fue el chiliasmo – basado en la palabra Griega en Apocalipsis 20:3 que denota el número 1,000.  El Chiliasmo fue un punto de vista premilenario mal definido que anticipó el regreso de Cristo, y Su reinado por mil años literales antes del juicio final. 

Ireneo, por ejemplo, un discípulo de Policarpo el mártir, quien a su vez fue instruido por los Apóstoles y tuvo comunicaciones familiares con muchos que habían visto al Cristo resucitado, escribieron de un período milenario literal.  En libro cinco de Adversus Haereses (En contra de las Herejías) Ireneo provee una defensa apologética para el milenio y la restauración futura de Israel que él insiste no puede ser alegorizado (35:1-35).  Después del milenio, Ireneo Prevé el juicio final de Dios y la retribución en términos de los capítulos 20 y 21 del Libro de La revelación. 

Hipólito, el obispo de habla griega de una Iglesia en Roma, que murió como un mártir alrededor del 235 DC es bien conocido por sus escrituras escatológicas.  En De Christo Et Antichristo (Cristo y anticristo) Hipólito escribe del anticristo y el período de la Tribulación.  En su Comentario sobre Daniel, el comentario bíblico existente más viejo hoy disponible, Hipólito detalla su esperanza milenaria y la relación del libro de Apocalipsis con Daniel, con sus descripciones apocalípticas de los  tiempos del fin.  Es importante darse cuenta de que la crítica común del pensamiento premilenario como una invención reciente es simplemente falsa – más bien es la más vieja de todas las creencias escatológicas cristianas. 

Desafortunadamente algunos estaban inclinados de hacer hincapié cariñosamente en sus esperanzas milenarias en una manera estúpidamente materialista, como Papías, cuyo cuarto libro detalla una descripción vívida del reino milenario, en la cual la fertilidad de la tierra aumentará en proporciones sorprendentes  por el bien de los santos resucitados. Acerca del año 100 A.D., Cerinto, un antiguo líder gnóstico, escribió del lujo y los deleites sensuales que él esperó que el milenio trajera. 

En el cuarto siglo, el gran pensador cristiano Agustín de Hipona, quien ha influenciado toda la teología latina, rechazó las nociones literales detrás del chiliasmo, basado en su desacuerdo con las nociones materialistas que habían llegado a ser asociadas con ésta. Aunque Agustín originalmente se aferró al chiliasmo y aún reconoció como una opinión defendible, él describió lo que él encontró lo que le pareció más “razonable” en el capítulo 20 De Civ Dei (La Ciudad de Dios) escrito en 425 DC. Agustín había modelado una opinión dónde en contraste al chiliasmo, la edad presente misma era el milenio.  Él percibió el reino de Dios como ya manifestado en la Iglesia y proclamó que la edad entre el Pentecostés y el retorno de Cristo era el mismo milenio, marcado por la influencia siempre creciente de la Iglesia en trastornar el mal en el mundo antes del regreso de Cristo.  Uno fácilmente puede comprender cómo podría haber surgido esta opinión, dado el cambio dramático en los asuntos de la Iglesia después del Edicto de Constantino de Tolerancia, temprano en el cuarto siglo.  De hecho, más tarde la teología latina tuvo una tendencia extendida para identificar el Reino de Dios, al menos en su primera etapa de existencia, con la Iglesia Católica institucional. 

Después del año 1,000 dC el pensamiento de un periodo literal de mil años se desvaneció; La construcción milenarista de Agustín se convirtió más bien en amilenialismo, siendo los “mil años” meramente figurativo. Ciertamente, durante la Edad Media el pensamiento de un milenio literal fue generalmente supuesto como cismático o herético. El Amilenialismo es todavía enseñado en escuelas filosóficas como aquella representada por el Westminster Theological Seminary. 

La posición milenaria fue refinada y además desarrollada por Daniel Whitby en tiempos relativamente recientes.  No obstante, esto no puede ser sostenido con cualquier pensamiento serio debido a la sucesión de guerras y otras calamidades siendo experimentadas – el reino de Dios no puede ser traído por el esfuerzo humano.  Aquellos que todavía sostienen el post- milenialismo tienden a ser grupos como los Preteristas que sostienen que el Libro de Apocalipsis se relaciona con acontecimientos que giran alrededor del Emperador Nerón, a pesar de la riqueza de la evidencia interna y externa para lo contrario (como la fecha de la escritura del Apocalipsis). 

El pensamiento Premilenario fue revivido después de ser meticulosamente delineado por el predicador bautista laico William Miller (exponente famoso del adventismo del séptimo día) y de mediados del 1800.  Sus puntos de vista cayeron en descrédito después de que dos intentos erraron para establecer una fecha para el regreso de Cristo. 

El siguiente renacimiento ocurrió con John Nelson Darby (de la distinción de la Hermandad de Plymouth) a finales de los 1850 en forma de Milenialismo dispensacional- la noción de que Dios interactúa con la humanidad en una serie de épocas o dispensaciones.  Darby tramó estas hebras diversas en un sistema cohesivo apremiante que él respaldó en cada punto por textos Bíblicos copiosos de prueba, luego incansablemente lo promovió a través de su escritura y predicación. 

Ciro Scofield popularizó este sistema de creencia con la publicación de su Biblia de referencia y lo catapultó en el pensamiento prevaleciente protestante. 

Es importante notar que el dispensacionalismo y el milenialismo no son sinónimos, aunque el dispensacionalismo es premilenario (pero uno puede ser premilenario sin ser un dispensacionalista). El Dispensacionalismo es enseñado por escuelas filosóficas representadas por el Dallas Theological Seminary (Charles Ryrie siendo un miembro bien conocido del personal). 

Las razones esenciales para mantenerse firme en un milenio literal es que representa la fe de la Iglesia primitiva, la enseñanza heredada de los Apóstoles, y que provee una comprensión de Apocalipsis 20 que es armoniosa con otros pasajes Bíblicos, y que es obtenida de una interpretación coherente y literal de las Escrituras.  Aquellos que eligen negar un milenio literal deben proveer fuerte razonamiento para su decisión. Aquellas creencias amilenialistas no pueden ser extraídas de la Escritura, sino que más bien que deben ser aprendidas fuera de ella.

SUBEN A 10,243 LOS CASOS DE INFLUENZA EPIDÉMICA EN 40 PAÍSES: OMS

De los 413 contagios validados desde la víspera, la mayoría se registraron en Estados Unidos y Japón, país este último con 210 personas infectadas, señaló una portavoz del organismo.

Un total de 10 mil 243 personas fueron contaminadas por la gripe porcina en 40 países y 80 murieron desde el brote de este nuevo virus gripal a fines de abril, informó este miércoles la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS).

“La mayoría de los nuevos casos (413 más desde el martes) se registraron en Estados Unidos y Japón”, precisó la portavoz de la OMS Fadíla Chaib.

Japón, que podría convertirse en el segundo foco autónomo de la enfermedad -después de América del Norte- cuenta ya con 210 casos formalmente diagnosticados. Un total de 51 nuevos enfermos fueron contabilizados en las últimas 24 horas, según la OMS.

Las autoridades japonesas dieron parte de 232 casos en el archipiélago.

El virus A(H1N1) de origen porcino también contaminó a 346 nuevos pacientes en Estados Unidos, donde se diagnosticaron formalmente 5 mil 469 casos, entre ellos seis muertes.

Los expertos de la OMS vigilan con gran atención la situación en Japón, donde la aparición de un foco de contaminación “autónomo” justificaría la declaración de pandemia mundial y el aumento del nivel de alerta al máximo (sexto, cuando actualmente aún está en el quinto).

Sin embargo, numerosos países, entre ellos Japón, han pedido a la directora de la OMS, Margaret Chan, que reflexione antes de declarar el estado de pandemia.

Chan ha asegurado tener en cuenta estas opiniones y ha mantenido el nivel de alerta 5, precisando que una pandemia es “inminente”.

La escala de alerta pandémica fue elaborada “pensando en el virus de la gripe aviaria, el H5N1, mucho más virulento”, con un porcentaje de mortalidad de hasta un 60 por ciento, explicó la responsable de la OMS.

El nuevo virus A(H1N1), para el que aún no existe una vacuna, podría mutar y ser “mucho más peligroso”, sobre todo si entra en contacto con el H5N1 aviario.

Chan lanzó el lunes una firme advertencia a los 193 Estados miembros de la OMS, que iniciaron en Ginebra su asamblea general anual de una semana de duración.

“Puede ser que el virus nos haya dado un respiro pero no sabemos por cuánto tiempo. Nadie sabe si se trata de la calma antes de la tormenta”, previno.

UN INFORME REVELÓ QUE SE COMETEN SISTEMÁTICAMENTE ABUSOS SEXUALES EN ESCUELAS CATÓLICAS DE IRLANDA

Miles de niños sufrieron sistemáticamente abusos sexuales en orfanatos, escuelas y reformatorios irlandeses dirigidos por la Iglesia católica, reveló una exhaustiva investigación publicada el miércoles en Dublín.

Los “abusos sexuales” en esas instituciones infantiles fueron “endémicos” entre 1930 y 1990, sentenció el informe elaborado por una comisión independiente tras casi 10 años de investigación.

“Las autoridades religiosas sabían que los abusos sexuales eran un problema persistente en organizaciones religiosas masculinas”, subraya el documento.

La Iglesia católica intentó repetidamente impedir la publicación de las conclusiones de la comisión, que entrevistó a más de 2000 personas que contaron que sufrieron golpizas, intimidaciones y abusos sexuales por parte de sacerdotes y monjas.

El documento de más de 2500 páginas constituye un dramático retrato de los daños emocionales, sexuales, físicos y mentales sufridos por los niños y confirma las acusaciones de miles de víctimas de los abusos, cuyas denuncias les valieron ser tratados de “mentirosos” por la sociedad católica irlandesa.

“Lamento hondamente y estoy profundamente avergonzado de que niños sufrieron de esa manera tan terrible en esas instituciones”, declaró el más alto responsable de la Iglesia católica de Irlanda, el cardenal Sean Brady.

El informe es “un catálogo de crueldad”, que revela “los grandes daños causados a algunos de los niños más vulnerables de nuestra sociedad”, señaló el cardenal.

Más de un centenar de instituciones dirigidas por órdenes católicas – principalmente las Hermanas de la Caridad y los Hermanos Cristianos – fueron investigadas por la comisión, compuesta por decenas de expertos.

Entre 30.000 y 40.000 niños pasaron por esos establecimientos. La mayoría de ellos fueron internados porque habían sido abandonados, eran hijos de madres solteras, o habían cometido pequeños robos. En algunos casos los niños ingresaban cuando tenían apenas dos años.

“Eso no eran orfanatos, eran gulags”, dijo a la AFP John Kelly, una de las víctimas de esos abusos. “Yo no me llamaba John Kelly. Yo era sólo el número 253″, dijo.

Las conclusiones de la investigación constituyen otro golpe para la credibilidad de la Iglesia católica irlandesa, ya salpicada por escándalos sexuales en varias de sus parroquias.

La Asociación de sobrevivientes irlandeses de abusos a niños (SOCA), que fue creada para ayudar a las víctimas, llamó al papa Benedicto XVI a investigar las actividades de las órdenes católicas en Irlanda.

“Ahora que la comisión ha terminado su trabajo, llamamos al papa Benedicto XVI a convocar un tribunal especial para investigar exhaustivamente a las órdenes religiosas católicas en Irlanda”, afirmó John Kelly, el coordinador de SOCA en Dublín.

Allen señaló que los miembros de esas órdenes que abusaron de niños no serán procesados. Muchos de ellos ya murieron. Algunos de las víctimas que prestaron testimonio -y que viajaron de países lejanos, como Australia, para contar los años de terror que vivieron en esos establecimentos- denunciaron el miércoles que la investigación no había ido suficientemente lejos, y que los culpables no iban a ser castigados.

“Me siento indignado, amargado y decepcionado”, afirmó una de las víctimas, John Walsh, que dijo que la investigación había dejado “heridas abiertas”, al no castigar a los culpables de los abusos.

La orden de los Hermanos Cristianos logró el año pasado aplazar la publicación del informe, presentando una demanda legal para conservar el anonimato de algunos de sus miembros citados en el documento, incluso en casos en que los religiosos ya habían sido sentenciados por haber abusado sexualmente de niños.

EXISTENCIA OBJETIVA Y EXISTENCIA SUBJETIVA

Las madres aman a sus hijos ANTES DE NACER… pero solo existen para ellas, no conscientemente.

La existencia subjetiva es una de las verdades mas claras de la Biblia y quien no entienda este concepto no está entendiendo pues en absoluto la teología judía y cristiana bíblica.

No entender que para DIOS existen ciertas cosas que en realidad NO EXISTEN objetivamente, o dicho de otra manera, no comprender que no solo muchísimas cosas sino TODO lo que existe y existió alguna vez existe subjetivamente desde el punto de vista de Dios, es no conocerlo.

Veamos un claro ejemplo de cosas que NO EXISTIAN como objetos, pero que SI EXISTÍAN en la mente de Dios:

Salmos 139:16Mi embrión vieron tus ojos, y en tu libro estaban escritas todas aquellas cosas que fueron luego formadas, sin faltar ni una de ellas. Este texto refleja uno de los aspectos más importantes del pensamiento hebreo, que obviamente es una de las facetas más asombrosas de la personalidad de nuestro Dios: el VÉ LA COSAS QUE AÚN NO SON. 

El vé y conoce las cosas que AÚN NO HAN SIDO FORMADAS, es decir que NO TIENEN EXISTENCIA OBJETIVA. Solo existen para él. El salmista, David, dice que en el libro de Dios ( su Plan, su Verbo, su Voluntad) ya estaban escritas todas las partes de su cuerpo … que FUERON LUEGO FORMADAS. No podría haber un texto más claro en cuanto a asentar que para Dios las cosas que aun NO SON, SI LO SON.

Como está escrito: «Te he puesto por padre de muchas naciones». Y lo es delante de Dios, a quien creyó, el cual da vida a los muertos y llama las cosas que no son como si fueran.

Nuevamente vemos que es una EXPLÍCITA ENSEÑANZA bíblica que Dios, el Padre LLAMA A LAS COSAS QUE NO SON, COMO SI FUERAN.

El propio Jesús enseñó que Dios llama a seres que NO SON, como si fueran y lo usó como argumento a favor de la resurrección:

Lucas 20:38 

Porque Dios no es Dios de muertos, sino de vivos, pues para él todos viven. 

Es interesante que los evangelios de Marcos y de Mateo aplican el argumento simplemente diciendo que Dios no es Dios de muertos, sino de vivos. Pero es Lucas quien explica exactamente el significado de la expresión: PARA ÉL, (o sea, PARA DIOS) todos ellos viven. La aclaración es importante. Los muertos NO EXISTEN objetivamente. Descansan, duermen, reposan. SOLO EXISTEN para Dios, en su mente, en su recuerdo. Para DIOS están vivos pues planea resucitarlos un día. 

Así que nuevamente vemos que la existencia SUBJETIVA es parte integral de la doctrina cristiana, y es esencial para comprender la esperanza cristiana de la resurrección: si para Dios no fuéramos tan reales como si aún viviéramos…¿cómo podríamos estar seguros de ser resucitados? Esto lo enseñó Jesús en el texto arriba mencionado, no yo. 

Los seres humanos sin existencia objetiva, han tenido existencia SUBJETIVA en la mente de Dios, o sea EXISTENCIA DESDE EL PUNTO DE VISTA DE DIOS. Este fue el caso de Jeremías: 

Jeremías 1:5«Antes que te formara en el vientre, te conocí, y antes que nacieras, te santifiqué, te di por profeta a las naciones». 

Dios santificó a Jeremías y lo dió por profeta a las naciones ANTES QUE JEREMÍAS EXISTIERA. Jeremías NO EXISTÍA ANTES DE NACER. A nadie se le ocurriría decir que Jeremías existió en el cielo antes de nacer. Queda claro que este texto se relaciona con la existencia SUBJETIVA en la mente de Dios, que llama a las cosas que no son, como si lo fueran. 

No es el único caso: de los cristianos dice: 

Efesios 1:4 

Según nos escogió en él antes de la fundación del mundo, para que fuéramos santos y sin mancha delante de él. 

Nadie puede negar la escritura. Nadie puede negar que Dios nos eligió ANTES DE LA FUNDACIÓN DEL MUNDO, antes de que naciéramos, antes de que existiéramos. Cualquiera de nosotros podría decir en voz alta:

“Padre me amaste antes de la fundación del mundo” 

Y no estaríamos mintiendo. No pido que interpreten. Solo pido que lean y piensen: si Efesios 1:4 es la Palabra de Dios, está claro que cualquiera de nosotros podría decir: 

“Padre me amaste antes de la fundación del mundo” 

También está claro que NINGUNO de nosotros existió antes de nacer objetivamente. Solo en la mente y los planes de Dios. ¿Nos debería extrañar pues que el hijo de Dios, el elegido para ser el Mesías dijera lo siguiente? 

Juan 17:24» 

Padre, aquellos que me has dado, quiero que donde yo esté, también ellos estén conmigo, para que vean mi gloria que me has dado, pues me has amado desde antes de la fundación del mundo. 

Si alguien va a usar Juan 17:24 para afirmar que Jesús existía conscientemente en los cielos antes de nacer, entonces deberá también aplicar el mismo principio a la carta a los Efesios y afirmar que TODOS NOSOTROS EXISTIMOS ANTES DE NACER. De hecho hay religiones que así lo hacen, como los mormones quienes creen que todos los seres tuvieron existencia consciente antes de nacer. Como vimos, no es lo que la Biblia enseña. La Biblia enseña que Jeremías, los cristianos y JESUCRISTO , todos estos seres tuvieron EXISTENCIA SUBJETIVA antes de nacer. Solo existían en la mente de Dios antes de nacer. 

a-      no es necesario existir para que Dios nos ame

b-    b- Dios amó a Jesús antes de nacer 

ERGO: Que Jesús amará a Jesús antes de nacer no prueba que Jesús existiera objetivamente antes de nacer. 

Es sencillo y claro. Y más aún. Jesús dice que su Padre LO AMÓ a él antes de la fundación del mundo, jamás dice que EL AMO AL PADRE. ¿Qué clase de amor sería ese en el cual existiendo dos seres, uno hijo y otro Padre el amor es unilateral teniendo los dos la capacidad de amar? Lo cierto es que Jesus nunca dijo haber amado al Padre antes de nacer. Nunca dijo haber pensado. Nunca dijo haber hecho nada antes de nacer porque OBJETIVAMENTE NO EXISTÍA. Pero si mencionó que Dios le había amado y elegido a ël, para lo cual no era necesario que existiera. El amor de Dios es por los seres que son y por los que aún no son. Explica otra escritura: 

1 Pedro 1:20 

Él estaba destinado desde antes de la fundación del mundo, pero ha sido manifestado en los últimos tiempos por amor de vosotros.

Pedro enseñó claramente que, tal como los cristianos, Jesús había sido DESTINADO antes de nacer, pero que solo se había manifestado , solo había llegado a existir luego de nacer. Me gusta como traducen otras versiones este texto: 

Esto es algo que Dios había decidido hacer desde antes de crear el mundo, y Cristo apareció en estos últimos tiempos para bien de ustedes.(Biblia en Lenguaje sencillo) 

Nada que indique una existencia objetiva de Jesús antes de nacer, más bien una clara explicación de que Dios llama a las cosas que no son como si lo fueran. 

De hecho que Jesús existía en el plan de Dios antes de nacer, pero no conscientemente queda claro en este texto: 

8Y todos los que moran en la tierra le adoraron, cuyos nombres no están escritos en el libro de la vida del Cordero, el cual fue muerto desde el principio del mundo. 

Apocalipsis 13:8 (Reina-Valera Antigua) 

No nos quedemos solo con esta versión:

Apocalipsis 13:8 (Reina-Valera 1960) 

8 Y la adoraron todos los moradores de la tierra cuyos nombres no estaban escritos en el libro de la vida(A) del Cordero que fue inmolado desde el principio del mundo. 

Lamentablemente en la REINA VALERA de 1995, fue removido el final del texto debido a que los traductores se dieron cuenta claramente que ese texto dejaba claro que si Jesús fue inmolado desde el principio del mundo, o sea, ANTES DE NACER, ANTES DE LA CRUZ es porque Dios habla de Jesus como si existiera aunque Jesús no existía. Han torcido literalmente la palabra de Dios quitándole frases que creen que no concuerdan con sus doctrinas. 

Pero nosotros entendemos bien lo que dice la Palabra: el cordero fue inmolado antes de la fundación del mundo, fue amado antes de la fundación del mundo, nosotros fuimos amados y elegidos antes de la fundación del mundo PERO NADA DE ESTO EXISTIO OBJETIVAMENTE antes de la fundación del mundo sino SOLO EN LA MENTE DE DIOS. 

Si no entendemos que Dios llama a las cosas que no son , como si lo fueran , no estamos entendiendo la Biblia. 

Si no entendemos que Jesús existió solo en la mente de Dios antes de nacer, no estamos leyendo claramente lo que la Biblia dice respecto a los planes de Dios. 

Si vamos a tomar cada frase en la cual se menciona algún sentimiento o pensamiento de Dios hacia Jesús antes de nacer como EXISTENCIA PRE NATAL de Jesús, entonces deberemos creer literalmente que también Jesús fue crucificado antes de nacer, que todos nosotros existimos, que Jeremías existió ,y que el rey David existió antes de nacer. No se puede aplicar una regla a un texto y negarla al resto. La hermosa enseñanza bíblica es que en la MENTE DE YAVÉ, nuestro amado Mesías existió siempre, y siempre supo Yavé que sería crucificado por nosotros. 

También nosotros existimos en la mente de Yavé, y el Reino venidero, pues él llama las cosas que no son, como si lo fueran. 

Jesús nació en la tierra, aquí llegó a existir. Nuestro Mesáis es un ser humano, engendrado por Dios, en el cual Dios había pensado incluso antes de fundar el mundo: Esto es lo que enseña la Biblia.

LA SOLUCIÓN DE LOS DOS ESTADOS, LAS NACIONES, Y LA BIBLIA

Los Estados Unidos, la Unión Europea, Las Naciones Unidas, y aun el Vaticano activamente tratan de obligar a Israel para estar divididos en dos estados – uno para Israel, el otro para los “palestinos” – en contra de las enseñanzas Bíblicas.

Lea Ezequiel 37:15-28. Recuerde el momento de esta profecía. Tendrá lugar después de la reunificación final de Israel (que ocurrió en mayo, 1948). El profeta recibió instrucciones de tomar dos varas, y etiquetar uno como que pertenece al reino del norte de Israel y el otro para el reino sureño. El profeta recibió instrucciones de convertirlos en una vara, significando una nación unificada, indivisible de Israel. El SEÑOR dijo (Ezequiel 37: 22): “Y los haré una nación en la tierra, en los montes de Israel, y un rey será a todos ellos por rey; y nunca más serán dos naciones, ni nunca más serán divididos en dos reinos”.  Dios ha prometido destrucción para cualquier nación que trate de dividir Jerusalén en los últimos días (Zacarías 12:2-3, 9): “He aquí yo pongo a Jerusalén por copa que hará temblar a todos los pueblos de alrededor contra Judá, en el sitio contra Jerusalén. Y en aquel día yo pondré a Jerusalén por piedra pesada a todos los pueblos; todos los que se la cargaren serán despedazados, bien que todas las naciones de la tierra se juntarán contra ella…Y en aquel día yo procuraré destruir a todas las naciones que vinieren contra Jerusalén”.

Los líderes de  las naciones que no saben o no prestan atención a las enseñanzas de la Biblia, están haciendo esta misma cosa, intentando dividir Jerusalén e Israel. La solución de dos naciones (la partición de Israel) es una garantía de la ira de Dios en contra de cualquier nación que persiga este curso de acción.

Los políticos y los medios noticiosos no comprenden los conflictos del Oriente Medio, porque se acercan a los conflictos desde una opinión mundana, no según la opinión Bíblica. Dios ha profetizado muchas cosas acerca de la Tierra del Pacto de Israel, que, desafortunadamente, no es comprendido por aquellos que ejercen poder e influencia en el mundo.

EL VIH/SIDA SE EXTIENDE RÁPIDAMENTE POR TODA EUROPA

España es de las más grandes exportadoras del VIH / SIDA  

BBC – Los científicos que han mapeado la rápida difusión del VIH/SIDA en toda Europa. Los turistas infectados en el extranjero tienen en gran parte la culpa.

Mediante el análisis de las muestras procedentes de 17 países europeos, un equipo internacional estudia la circulación del virus en todo el continente.

Su mapa muestra  que Grecia, Portugal, Serbia y España son grandes exportadores del VIH / SIDA, con muchos turistas e emigrantes de estos países  que esparcen el virus.

El Reino Unido es un exportador e importador, dice una revista de Retrovirología.

Lo mismo ocurre con Israel, Noruega, los Países Bajos, Suecia y Suiza, mientras que países como Alemania, Austria, Bélgica, Dinamarca, Alemania y  Luxemburgo son en gran medida los importadores del VIH / SIDA, dicen los investigadores .

En Polonia, el VIH está contenido, pero se extiende entre sus habitantes, por el uso de inyectables para drogas, encontró el grupo de investigación.

Para construir su mapa, los investigadores examinaron el tipo más común  del VIH / SIDA que circulan en Europa, conocido como el VIH-1 subtipo B.

Que su seguimiento de la migración mediante la creación de un árbol de familia para el virus, buscando en las características genéticas que revelan cómo el virus ha ido evolucionando con el tiempo.

En el caso de Serbia como un exportador, lo más probable es que sus habitantes que viajan a otros países, llevan el virus con ellos, dijo.

“En gran medida la propagación del VIH / SIDA en Polonia se debe a los inyectables de  usuarios de drogas, que representan alrededor de la mitad de la epidemia del VIH / SIDA en la población.

“Los virus se desplazan con los viajeros – por lo tanto, dentro de los programas de salud  los países deben no sólo ver las poblaciones nacionales,  sino que los esfuerzos de prevención también deben estar dirigidos a los migrantes, los viajeros y los turistas – que son las principales fuentes y los objetivos del VIH / SIDA.”

Rowan Harvey, de la Terrence Higgins Trust, dijo: “El VIH / SIDA no está constreñida por las fronteras, es una epidemia mundial y hay patrones conocidos y claros de cómo se transmite esta plaga entre los países.

Para protegerse contra el VIH / SIDA y otras enfermedades de transmisión sexual,  infecciones, “el sexo seguro es fundamental y la fidelidad”.

PALESTINOS ASEGURAN QUE EEUU PROMETIÓ QUE JERUSALÉN SERÁ CAPITAL DE SU ESTADO

El plan según el informe que trae hoy Yediot Ajaronot también haría que Jerusalem las Naciones Unidas tengan control de los lugares sagrados para el Judaísmo, Islám y Cristianismo.

El Primer Ministro Biniamin Netanyahu expresó antes de las elecciones que no apoya la creación de un estado palestino independiente aunque como expresó en la conferencia de prensa junto al Presidente Obama esta semana si apoya un estado palestino con autonomía y con limitaciones en temas de armas para no amenazar la seguridad de Israel.

ISRAEL Y LA SOLUCIÓN DE LOS DOS ESTADOS: UN SERIO CONFLICTO BÍBLICO CON EL PACTO ABRAHAMICO

Existen Líderes Evangélicos, Católicos y políticos que no comprenden correctamente el pacto Abrahámico que Dios hizo con los descendientes carnales de Abraham.  Este pacto Abrahámico es un “pacto eterno,” y no es en el análisis final dependiente de la obediencia o desobediencia de los judíos.  Es verdad que el pacto Mosaico es condicional, y las consecuencias de la desobediencia por los judíos son pronunciadas en Deuteronomio Capítulo 28 en lo que podría ser llamado las bendiciones y las maldiciones. Como Jesucristo profetizó, los judíos fueron sacados de la tierra de Israel, y el Templo destruido en 70 A.D. después de una invasión de los romanos.  Sin embargo, hay numerosas profecías del Antiguo Testamento acerca de los judíos que regresan a la tierra en los “días finales,” en un estado espiritual de descreimiento.  Esto aceleró en 1948 la reformación de la nación de Israel, después de alrededor 2,000 años, y los judíos, como fue previsto, han estado regresando de todas las naciones de la tierra.  Finalmente, el Pacto Abrahamico no puede ser hecho nulo o caduco.  Es un pacto eterno.  La Iglesia no ha reemplazado a la nación de Israel.  La prueba final de la naturaleza eterna del pacto Abrahamico es que los judíos han regresado a la tierra física de Israel.  Además, el Mesías regresará a dominar, y reinar desde Israel por un periodo literal de mil años llamado el Milenio. 

Es un error serio de parte de los líderes Evangélicos y Católicos arremeter contra la promesa de Dios para la nación de Israel, y tratar de impulsar la división equitativa de la tierra.  Éste es un error teológico serio que tendrá consecuencias catastróficas para Norte América.  El Dios de la Biblia dice en Génesis 12:3, “bendeciré a los que te bendijeren, y maldeciré a los que te maldijeren”. Norte América está próxima a cometer un error muy serio, y los líderes Evangélicos que le aconsejan a los líderes políticos de esa nación importante sin una comprensión correcta acerca del Pacto Abrahámico serán responsabilizados por la ruina que se avecina.

NETANYAHU AFIRMA QUE ISRAEL ESTÁ DISPUESTO A REINICIAR ONMEDIATAMENTE LAS CONVERSACIONES DE PAZ CON LA AP

El primer ministro israelí, Benjamin Netanyahu, reiteró hoy que su Gobierno está dispuesto a relanzar las conversaciones de paz con la Autoridad Palestina de forma inmediata, en el último día de su visita a Estados Unidos.

Un día después de reunirse en Washington con el presidente estadounidense, Barak Obama, aseguró que ambos “están trabajando juntos para reiniciar el proceso de paz y que están buscando formas de implicar a fuentes externas del mundo árabe en el proceso”.

El senador estadounidense John Kerry, presidente del Comité de Relaciones Exteriores del Senado estadounidense, aseguró sentirse animado por las declaraciones del mandatario israelí durante su reunión con un grupo de legisladores estadounidense, informó el diario israelí ‘Haaretz’.

Kerry comentó que resaltó a Netanyahu la importancia de seguir avanzando, especialmente en cuanto al tema de los asentamientos, aunque reconoció que es necesario que los palestinos también den pasos hacia el proceso de paz.
